Back again. Happy at that. Here we are with Day Two – Gift

“Life is short; I wanna live it well” – Switchfoot “Live it Well”
That is what popped into my head at the word “Gift.” Life is short. We have a small amount of time in the grand scheme of it all to make an impact. I’m not talking some kind of make-you-famous impact. Because impact doesn’t have to lead to fame to be important. And I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, but sometimes we get in a rut of thinking it is not important if it isn’t big. But life is important and can make an impact that counts even when it is not about you but sets a gift in motion as a result of Christ in you.
I believe your smile could be just the gift someone else needs to turn their bad day on its ear. Your hello can remind a person that they are seen and they matter. I don’t think people realize how much they matter anymore. I think it would be wonderful if we could remind them. I want to do that.
I want to remind others that they are loved. I want to remind them of that they were made on purpose for a purpose and it is beautiful! They are unique and called and equipped. Sometimes it takes some excavation to get to that special gift, but it is there. And when that gift really starts to shine…IMPACT!

See you tomorrow!

Me too! I love them. I got a chance to see them this summer at Unity Christian Music festival and they were amazing. 🙂
