A few days ago…Scott, Alex and I were living with the above view. It is really pretty to say the least. It is also really small. We lived in a little cabin in a KOA in Gaylord, Michigan. Can I just take one moment and recommend it. The owners and staff were amazing and the facilities were awesome! If you are ever camping in Gaylord, Michigan…look them up.
I really want to take some time and share everything that has been going on, but I have no internet currently and have to grab bits of time at the library when possible. It is not always possible.
So I figured I could just bullet point a few things and we will just have a bit of a series here as time allows. Please excuse the fact that I am literally not sharing any of these right now. With no internet, I will probably do some Scrivener typing and transfer things over as I can. Which is great, because I really need to get into Scrivener again.
Coming soon in the catch up series –
1 – Praying for direction.
2 – Feeling ideas out.
3 – Praying for our home and area.
4 – Potential in Michigan.
5 – Process.
6 – House upheaval & answered prayers.
7 – Hitting the road.
8 – There is no place to call home.
9 – Surprised by God’s provision.
10 – Getting comfortable.
11 – Set back of set backs.
12 – What is next?
Let me leave you with the verse that has been on my heart today…
Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
What has been going on lately has really made me far more aware of how amazing our God is in the tough times, not so tough times, and all the blessing times. I am learning to accept all things from God and know that He loves me and my family. We may be going through a real tough process right now, but we are not alone. After Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego were thrown into the firey furnace, they saw not just the three of them in the fire but a fourth. They were not alone. How wonderful it is to know that God goes before us and will not leave nor forsake us.
